WELCOME!

Where every critter is a Friend of Bill!

Ed Newbegin has been certified as a Canine Behavior Consultant by the Marin Humane Society, graduating from the Consultant Instructor Training Academy Level 2 in February of 2005. The CITA course is designed to further the instructor's understanding of what makes dogs tick. Easy, you say - FOOD! True enough, but how do you integrate your new puppy into the "pack" at your home? What about "potty training"? By the way, who's the Boss? How does your dog get that message? Ed can meet with you and your new pooch to introduce you to the world of positive reinforcement training, a way to get the dog to do what you want him to because HE wants to do it!

Other dogs have problems at home that go beyond simple puppy training. Behavior problems are serious matters that can affect not only your family but other people and animals as well. Fear biting, food and toy possession, urination and elimination in the house, excessive barking and leash pulling are just some of these issues. Ed can come to your home for a comprehensive behavioral profile and make suggestions based on reference works and his experience with canine problems. A typical visit will last 90 minutes. You will receive the written profile and follow-up service.
